I wrote this during the Covid-19 epidemic, and the associated lockdown in the UK. I was processing the experience: The sunny days, the fact that the birds seem to be singing louder in spite of all that's going on in the world.

I remembered the words of Jesus. "Consider the birds of the air". I trust the one who sustains the birds, and causes the sun to rise and the rains to fall, and the flowers to bloom.
